I'd like to call for a halt in proceedings for now,
if that's OK. 
a ceasefire in our hundred year war and ongoing
ground offensive currently taking place 
in our living-room.
And since we've had very little in the way of relief,
an assurance of humanitarian aid, 
should it be required,
ahead of any impending dispute.

I do not care so much for war 
as I do for truth. So I say -
'Lay down your arms and to hell with what 
the rest of them think.'
Either, speak up or hold your tongue,
your choice,
the rest can eat their words.
But, for me, remaining silent 
during times of crisis
is as deadly as any disease. 

If You Love War

If you love war, then you must love death too, 
equally as much, for such brutal acts of terrorism 
destroy the hearts of millions and cause them a lifetime's 
worth of agony. Whatever drives you 
currently to tipping point, will cost you double in 
humiliation: You won't be remembered so much as Gods, 
but of savages, scavengers and outcasts, 
to be pitied and mocked. How much should we charge you 
for the cost of a human life, when all is said and done 
and war is through and you have nothing at all 
to show of it?
